Socratic Dialogues & Explorations

This folder contains Socratic-style dialogues - question-and-answer explorations that probe concepts through systematic questioning.

Purpose

  • Explore concepts through dialogue
  • Test ideas via questioning
  • Uncover hidden assumptions
  • Develop understanding iteratively

Socratic Method

The approach:

  1. Start with a claim or concept
  2. Ask probing questions
  3. Follow implications
  4. Identify contradictions or confirmations
  5. Refine understanding

Example Format

Q: What is consciousness?
A: The integration of information.

Q: Can information integrate itself?
A: No, integration requires an integrator.

Q: Then what is the integrator?
A: The soul - the persistent field that reads information.

Q: How do we know the soul exists?
